Application Process

01. Application Process:
  • Access the application form on the Her Path Forward website.
  • Provide all required information, including personal details, educational background, and financial status.
02. WRITE A PERSONAL STATEMENT:
  • Submit a one-page essay (500 words max) detailing:
  • Your educational goals and aspirations.
  • Challenges you’ve faced as a single mother.
  • How this scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
03. PROVIDE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:
  • Proof of enrollment or acceptance in an accredited program (e.g., acceptance letter or transcript).
  • Most recent academic transcript (if applicable).
  • Proof of Fnancial need (e.g., tax return, FAFSA conrmation, or other relevant documents).
  • Two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with your academic or professional background.
04. SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION:
  • Upload all materials through the Her Path Forward scholarship application portal.
  • Ensure all files are in PDF format and labeled with your name and document type (e.g., "JaneDoe_Essay.pdf").
  • Verify that your submission is complete by the deadline.
05. APPLICATION DEADLINES:
  • Applications are accepted twice annually:

Spring Deadline: March 1
Fall Deadline: September 1

  • Late submissions will not be considered.
Evaluation
  • Only complete applications submitted by the deadline will be considered
  • Recipients may reapply annually but must submit a new application.
  • Misrepresentation of information may result in disqualication.
